The City of Santa Monica hosts the annual Ethiopian Cultural Festival at Virginia Avenue Park. The event features wide diversity of music, dance and fashions of the different regions of Ethiopia, craft area for kids that will include learning how to write their name in Amharic, the language of Ethiopia, and making daisy crowns and pins. You will be also able to taste a sampling of Ethiopian cuisine and participate in the traditional coffee ceremony. (Free Admission)
