Celebrate 4th of July holiday at the annual Grand Park featuring picnicking, games, art-making, music, dancing and a stunning fireworks show high above Downtown L.A. Two stages featuring DJs and live musical performances will entertain audiences throughout the celebration. Fireworks begin at 9:00 p.m. The event offers a multitude of dining options from more than 40 vendors including the return of gourmet food trucks. Grand Park + The Music Center’s Fourth of July Block Party will encompass the entire park, from Grand Avenue to Spring Street, plus the surrounding streets. (Free)

4th of July Fireworks Celebration

Head to Marina del Rey this July 4th for the Los Angeles Westside’s premier fireworks show. The fireworks start at 9 p.m. and last 20 minutes. We recommend that you arrive no later than 1 p.m. and stay for the day to enjoy the show with synchronized music at either Burton Chace Park or Fisherman’s Village. (Free)

July 4th Fireworks Spectacular with Nile Rodgers & CHIC

Make it a Fourth to remember with It’s nothing but good times this Independence Day when Nile Rodgers and CHIC team up with the LA Phil for a three-night star-spangled celebration.

The concert begins with star-spangled American favorites by the orchestra. Then, Nile Rodgers & CHIC set things off with “Le Freak” and “Good Times,” plus some of Nile’s hits as a producer – including “I’m Coming Out,” “Let’s Dance,” and “Get Lucky.”  Half off for kids 12 and under.

The Santa Monica Fourth of July Parade has grown every year and brings together families, musicians, civic groups and exhibitionists of all stripes. Come in your red, white and blue! The parade will begin at Pico Boulevard on Main Street and will conclude at the southern most beach parking lot.

With one of the most spectacular fireworks displays in Southern California, the July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza delights over 60,000 people with a free concert and 15-minute spectacular fireworks display. There are over 20 local restaurants on hand along with arts and crafts vendors and local businesses promoting and selling their goods. The event takes place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Admission is Free but consider VIP treatment.
