Day Camp, Martial Arts, Anti Bullying Camp
Upstander Kids Anti-Bullying Camp is an immersive program with empowering daily exercises that include formal training with Alonzo Martial Arts. Being resistant to bullying takes more than knowing how to defend one’s self, however. If you want your kids to learn to stand up for themselves, to stand up for others, to stand up for their dreams, or to stand up for what they believe in, they have to learn to set boundaries while they’re young: If a lack of boundaries invites a lack of respect, then setting boundaries is evolutionary.
Camp size is limited to 20-25 kids, so that they can receive more personalized attention, and so that what they learn, sticks! They’re taught to value their boundaries and to respect those of their neighbors against a backdrop of other daily group activities like indoor/outdoor sports & games, dance, yoga, mindful meditation, and a few other surprises!
