It’s time to celebrate All-You-Can-Eat Meatball day! Join the fun-loving little monkey Curious George as he helps his friend Chef Pisghetti cook the most delicious meatballs and see what happens when Curious George enters the meatballs in the world-famous Golden Meatball Contest in Rome! This weekend, celebrate Cherry Blossom Month at Descanso Gardens. Descanso Garden will be hosting individual events that families can enjoy all month long. Take the kids on a spring bloom walk where you can learn about cherry blossoms, flowering trees, and other seasonal favorites.

Budding artists will be delighted to take in one of the origami hands-on demonstrations where they can even try their hand at it with the help of seasoned pros. Cost: Adults: $9, Kids: $6.

Take a guided tour at the STAR Eco Station to see over two hundred rescued exotic wildlife, from tropical fish to tortoises, from parrots to pythons. Each tour is led by an Eco Station staff member, and features fun animal facts, hands-on animal encounters, surprising rescue stories, environmental exhibits, and innovative approaches to going green.

The guided tour lasts approximately 45-60 minutes. You are served on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations are required, however tours may sell out. Call before you go to make sure there are no closures due to private parties. Cost: $6-$8. Contact: 310-842-8060

Touch-A-Truck is a family-friendly event designed to allow children to explore, climb, and touch vehicles of all shapes and sizes. There will be fun for everyone in the family - meet the people who build, protect and serve Los Angeles County or get creative at the arts and crafts table. Food trucks will be on-site offering lunch and snacks for purchase. Tickets are available online and begin at $10 for a single rider or $35 for four tickets. Children two and younger are free.
