The display features a diverse range of child-sized race cars, from old to new, electric-to-gas powered to sophisticated, and affordable to luxurious. With a focus on cars that could be “raced” by adolescents in competition, the exhibition Sidewalk Speedsters: The Grown-up World of Children’s Cars examines the development, purpose and meaning of vehicles that were often campaigned in friendly competition, but because of their tiny size, effectively preclude their use by adults.

Egg Hunt at Kidspace Children Museum

Hundreds of candy-filled eggs are hidden throughout Arroyo Adventure waiting to be found! Families can create spring art, learn the bunny hop, and pet real bunnies with the Bunny World Foundation.
Take your basket for the hunt. Baskets will not be provided but are available to purchase at the Busy Bee Learning Store. Adults do not need to register for the hunt, but are required to pay museum admission ($14) and are welcome to accompany their children throughout the hunt. Check-in begins 30 minutes before each hunt. There is an 8 egg limit per child.
