For this Martin Luther King Jr.'s weekend, we have found you some family friendly events in remembrance of Martin Luther King Jr., and other fun events to enjoy with the family. Some favorite events are Doc McStuffin's Exhibit, Disney's Aladdin, Daniel Tiger, Science Fair, Escape Room, Movies, Dance, and More!

Doc McStuffins: The Exhibit

This is the last weekend that Disney Junior's popular “Doc McStuffins” is at Discovery Cube LA. The exhibit is designed to model “care and compassion” for kids age 2-6 in immersive activities that reinforce the importance of health and well-being. The Exhibit” at Discovery Cube allows young “doctors-in- training” to visit the McStuffins Toy Hospital where they can perform check-ups and diagnose toy patients while learning about healthy habits, compassion and nurturing care.


Martin Luther King Weekend Concert

Celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King with Santa Monica Symphony’s annual MLK Weekend Concert. Opening the concert will be Aaron Copland’s iconic Fanfare for the Common Man, followed by African-American composer Duke Ellington’s ambitious jazz composition, Black, Brown, and Beige. His narration of the remarkably lyrical and deeply affecting finale piece, New Morning for the World by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Joseph Schwantner will complete the afternoon performance.
