Now through September 24th, South Coast Plaza hosts Festival of Children, which features over 100 events, including stage performances and hands-on activities for kids. Thousands of people will amass beaches, rivers, parks, schools and watersheds throughout the state of California this Saturday for Coastal Cleanup Day, the world’s largest volunteer day to protect the ocean. This is a wonderful opportunity to teach your kids to be good members of society! Go to Heal the Bay's website for more information, map of locations, and to register. You'll need to print out the waiver in advance. This event is free and open to ages 4 and over. Cleaning supplies are provided.
