THE BEST FAMILY CRUISE LINES

FROM LOS ANGELES

Finding a good family friendly cruise line doesn't have to be a struggle. Below, you will find the best family friendly cruise lines that offer wonderful activities and kids club for kids. All you have to do is going through the activities, family cabins, and day care programs to see which ships are best suited for your family.

Disney Cruise Line

When you set sail with Disney, you’ll experience an unforgettable vacation that boasts fun and leisure for each and every member of the family so that no one ever has to compromise. Whether it's relaxing "me time" for adults, imaginative activities for the kids or thrilling entertainment for the whole family, a Disney cruise invites everyone to enjoy their favorites—and share in the magic together. Activities include game shows, character appearances, contests, first-run movies, and live productions which focus on Disney characters.

Carnival Vista Cruise

This Carnival cruise ship started a new era for Carnival Cruise Line with a new class introduced. Carnival Vista is the first in its class and brought some industry-first features at sea. To date, it is also the largest Carnival ship in the fleet. Carnival Vista features the first ever SkyRide which is an award-winning elevated track on top of the ship. You can peddle around racing each other or just taking it easy with ocean views. The first IMAX Theater at sea was also introduced onboard Carnival Vista.

Carnival Horizon Cruise

This Carnival cruise ship is the sister to Carnival Vista which entered service in 2016. Carnival Horizon brings the same popular features launching in 2108 with an IMAX Theater and SkyRide. The vessel is also the first in the fleet to have Guy Fieri’s Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse|Brewhouse, a full-service BBQ venue.

Princess Cruise Line

From relaxing pursuits and enriching activities to world-class entertainment and gourmet cuisine, when you step aboard, you are setting a course for a world of wonderful new discoveries at Princes Cruise Line. In partnership with Discovery, Princess has developed engaging new youth programming and wonder-filled center designs for cruisers ages 3 to 17. Each new center has a different theme where kids make new friends and participate in cruise activities specially designed to help them play, huddle, create and discover.

Celebrity Cruises

With thirteen award-winning ships, Celebrity Cruise Line offers unique experiences in more than 300 destinations on all seven continents. These cruises draw families and groups who want style and comfort without luxury-line fares. The activities ranges from technology classes to water volleyball matches. Impressive specialty restaurants include small-plate-style Qsine, which serves sushi lollipops and the Lawn Club Grill, where you can sear your own meat.

Roybal Caribbean Cruise Line

Royal Caribbean is a great choice for families and ideal for sporty travelers. The line’s activities include rock-climbing, surf simulations, ice skating, ziplining, inline skating, and boxing (in a real ring). Royal Caribbean's entertainment choices feature high-dive shows on Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas, as well as parades with stilt walkers and “Madagascar,” “Shrek,” and “Kung Fu Panda” characters, the result of a partnership with DreamWorks Animation. Royal Caribbean’s games, events, and cruise activities for kids are going on all over the ship throughout the day and into the evening hours. The Royal Babies program and Tot Program offer the tiniest guests and their parents interactive classes filled with enriching activities.

Norwegian Cruise Line

With four magnificent ships, Norwegian Cruise line is one of the top cruise lines that we recommend for families due to the casual atmosphere of the ships and activities on board. The Guppies Programs and Splash Academy at Norwegian's Cruises are wonderful for kids 6 months to 12 years. Children can do arts and crafts, play video games, sing karaoke and more. Epic's facility has a jungle gym, plenty of room to roam and a cool interactive light-up dance floor.

Entourage is a space for teens 13 to 17, and it has air hockey, video games, plush couches and flat-screen TVs. Entourage turns into a teens-only nightclub at night. Late-night group babysitting is available for a fee. Popular activities for kids include rock climbing and rappelling walls, climbing cages, bowling lanes and impressive water park areas, water slides, ropes course at sea, and water parks at sea. All four have two main pools, including a separate kids pool.
